(1) After the cold start, the generator is running under load without load. (2) When the generator set runs when the engine oil is insufficient, the oil supply on the surfaces of the friction pairs will be insufficient due to insufficient engine oil supply, resulting in abnormal wear or burns. For this reason, before the machine starts and during the operation of the diesel engine, ensure that the engine oil is sufficient to prevent cylinder failure and bush burning failure due to lack of oil.
(3) Sudden shutdown with load or immediate shutdown after the load is suddenly removed. The cooling system's cooling water circulation stops after the generator is turned off, the heat dissipation capacity decreases sharply, and the heated parts lose cooling, which can easily cause overheating of the cylinder head, cylinder liner, and cylinder block , Cracks, or excessive expansion of the piston stuck in the cylinder liner. On the other hand, if the diesel engine is not cooled down at idle speed when it is stopped, it will cause insufficient oil on the friction surface, and when the diesel engine is restarted, it will intensify wear due to poor lubrication. Therefore, before the diesel engine is turned off, the load should be removed, and the speed should be gradually reduced, and the engine should be run for a few minutes without load.
(4) If the accelerator is blasted after the cold start of the generator set, the speed of the diesel engine will increase sharply, which will cause some friction surfaces on the machine to wear out severely due to dry friction. In addition, the piston, connecting rod, and crankshaft receive a large change in force when the throttle is bombed, causing severe impacts and easy damage to the parts.
(5) Running the generator with insufficient cooling water or insufficient cooling water and high oil temperature will reduce its cooling effect. The diesel engine will overheat because it cannot get effective cooling; the oil temperature of the cooling water and oil is too high It will also cause the diesel engine to overheat. At this time, the cylinder head, cylinder liner, piston assembly, and valve are mainly subject to large thermal loads, and their mechanical properties such as strength and toughness decrease sharply, which increases the deformation of parts, reduces the gap between parts and accelerates the wear of the parts. Cracks and jammed parts can also occur. Excessive temperature of cooling water and oil will accelerate the aging, deterioration and burning of the oil, and the viscosity of the oil will decrease. The lubrication conditions of the sleeves, pistons and main friction pairs will deteriorate, resulting in abnormal wear. Overheating of the diesel engine will also worsen the combustion process of the diesel engine, make the injector work abnormally, the atomization will be bad, and the carbon deposit will increase.
(6) During the operation of the generator set when the temperature of the cooling water and oil is too low, the temperature of the cooling water is too low, and the temperature of the cylinder wall is reduced accordingly. The water vapor generated by the combustion condenses into water droplets, which generates acidity upon contact with the exhaust gas. Substances adhere to the cylinder wall and cause corrosive wear. Practice has proved that when a diesel engine is often used at a cooling water temperature of 40 ° C to 50 ° C, its component wear is several times greater than the normal operating temperature (85 ° C to 95 ° C). At this time, when the water temperature is too low, the internal temperature of the cylinder is low, and the ignition delay period of the diesel engine is prolonged. Once the ignition occurs, the pressure rises rapidly, and the diesel fuel is rough, which may cause mechanical damage to the parts. The diesel engine has been running for a long time in the low temperature of cooling water, the gap between the piston and the cylinder liner is large, the cylinder knocking phenomenon has occurred, and vibration occurs, which causes cavitation of the cylinder liner. The oil temperature is too low, the oil viscosity is large, the fluidity is poor, and the amount of oil in the lubricating part is insufficient, resulting in poor lubrication, causing increased friction pair wear, and shortening the service life of the diesel engine.
(7) If the oil pressure is too low when the oil pressure is too low, the lubrication system cannot perform normal oil circulation and pressure lubrication, and the lubricating parts cannot get enough oil. Therefore, when the machine is driving, pay attention to the condition of the oil pressure gauge or oil pressure indicator. If it is found that the oil pressure is lower than the specified pressure, stop the machine immediately, and then continue driving after removing the fault.
(8) Overspeed and overload of the machine. If the machine is overspeeded or overloaded, the diesel engine will run under excessive load and high speed, which will cause rough work. The thermal load on cylinder liners, pistons, connecting rods, etc. Increased mechanical load is prone to failures such as cylinder pulling and tile burning. Frequent overload operation causes long-term rough combustion in the cylinder and easily damages the cylinder gasket.
(9) If the generator set that slams the throttle at high speed before the flameout stops suddenly, its huge inertia will damage the parts of the crank link mechanism and the valve train and shorten the service life. At the same time, the violent throttle caused the fuel to flow down the cylinder wall due to excessive entry into the cylinder before it could burn completely, and the generator rented out and
released the lubricant. In addition, there will be a significant increase in the carbon deposits on the pistons, valves, and combustion chambers, resulting in blockage of the injectors and stuck pistons.
(10) Suddenly add cooling water when the temperature of the generator set is too high. If the cooling water is suddenly added when the generator set is short of water and overheated, it will cause cracks in the cylinder head, cylinder liner, cylinder block due to severe changes in cold and heat. Therefore, when the temperature of the generator set is too high, the load should be removed first, the speed should be slightly increased, the diesel engine should be turned off after the water temperature drops, and the water radiator cap should be loosened to remove water vapor. If necessary, slowly fill the cooling water into the water radiator.
(11) Long-term idling When the generator set is idling, the lubricating oil pressure is low, and the cooling effect of the top of the piston is poor, causing a sharp increase in wear and easy to pull the cylinder; it can also cause poor atomization, incomplete combustion, serious carbon deposits, and sometimes Causes valve and piston ring seizure, cylinder liner cavitation.
